Group Hand Signals

Road Captains in our group rides will use these
hand signals to control the group. So you need to become familiar with
them. Also, when you see anyone in front of you use a hand signal, it is
very important that you relay the signal to those behind you. Everyone in
the group must do this except those in the extreme rear. Further

START ENGINES With your right or left arm |
|
LEFT TURN Raise your left arm |
|
|
|
RIGHT TURN Raise your left arm |
|
HAZARD LEFT Extend your left arm at |
|
|
|
HAZARD RIGHT A Extend your right arm at |
|
HAZARD RIGHT B Extend your left arm upward |
|
|
|
SPEED UP Raise your left arm up and
down |
|
SLOW DOWN Extend your left arm at |
|
|
|
STOP Extend your left arm at |
|
SINGLE FILE Position your left hand over |
|
|
|
STAGGERED Extend your left arm upward |
|
TIGHTEN UP Raise your left arm and |
